Oprah Winfrey is taking the idea of an “aha moment” somewhere it has never been before: Sphere in Las Vegas.
Oprah Winfrey’s AHA is a four-show immersive live experience scheduled for April 2 through April 4, 2027. Rather than a traditional speaking tour or concert, the two-hour production combines Winfrey’s live storytelling with music, poetry, original art and Sphere’s immersive visual and audio technology.
Jacob Collier, Ocean Vuong, Ajeet and Wintley Phipps are scheduled to appear live, with additional surprise guests planned. Special guests are subject to change.
The project was inspired in part by Winfrey’s experience seeing U2 at Sphere in 2023. Now she is building a production specifically for the venue around themes of awe, connection, wonder and self-discovery.
Oprah Winfrey’s AHA will play four shows at Sphere in Las Vegas. Friday and Saturday feature evening performances, while Sunday includes a matinee and an evening show.

Oprah Winfrey’s AHA is more than Winfrey appearing alone onstage. The production brings together musicians, writers, visual artists and storytellers, with several performers already confirmed.
Jacob Collier: The seven-time Grammy Award-winning musician is scheduled to perform as part of the live production.
Ocean Vuong: The acclaimed poet and author will appear live during the experience.
Ajeet: The singer and musician is among the featured performers.
Wintley Phipps: The gospel singer is also scheduled to appear during the production.
Surprise guests: Additional surprise guests are planned, although the official AHA website notes that special guests are subject to change.
The creative team includes Max Richter as musical director, Jon Hopkins contributing original music, Tarell Alvin McCraney contributing to the story, Jason White serving as choir director, Ethan Tobman directing and Es Devlin contributing original art. Baz Halpin is producing the experience.
AHA is not being presented as a conventional Oprah speaking engagement. The official description calls it an immersive visual and musical experience created by a global collective of musicians, artists and storytellers.
The production combines live storytelling, music, poetry, nature, light, original art and Sphere’s visual and audio technology. Winfrey is expected to appear throughout the experience alongside the featured performers and surprise guests.
The show is designed around a sequence of music, film, visual art and storytelling rather than a traditional interview or keynote format. Winfrey has described the project as an attempt to create moments of wonder and connection that encourage audiences to see themselves and one another differently.
Sphere is a major part of the experience. The venue’s interior LED display wraps above and around the audience, creating a large-scale visual environment. Sphere Immersive Sound is designed to deliver highly localized audio throughout the venue.
The AHA production was created specifically for those capabilities. Instead of treating Sphere as a normal concert venue with a large screen behind the stage, the show is built around the audience’s relationship to the visuals, sound and live performers.
The creative team’s work will also shape the experience. Original music from Max Richter and Jon Hopkins, storytelling by Tarell Alvin McCraney, direction from Ethan Tobman and original art by Es Devlin all contribute to a production that sits somewhere between a live storytelling event, a concert, a visual installation and an immersive theater experience.
