Great Customer Service
I tested positive for Covid one day before I was scheduled to see a show I had been looking forward to for a long time. I called support and at 10 pm on a Monday they were able to transfer my tickets to the same seats the following month, to a date of my choosing. About MLS All-Star Game Tickets
The Major League Soccer (MLS) All-Star Game is the annual all-star game for the premier club soccer league in the USA. The event was first played in 1996 at Giants Stadium, with the contest marking the mid-point of the MLS season. This timing of the contest brings the MLS all-star game in line with those of the other major sports in America as a midseason break, with only the Pro Bowl in the NFL following a different placement schedule.
The event has a format that is unique amongst all-star games. The first two years of the all-star game saw a traditional style where the MLS East and MLS West conferences faced off. This changed for the first time in 1998, when a team of MLS USA players faced the MLS World, a group of players that played in the league but that were from other countries. While that type of match only lasted one season, the idea was set into motion that this could be a different type of all-star game. Between 1999 and 2004 the East/West format was generally retained, but in 2003 an MLS All-Stars team beat Guadalajara of the Liga MX 3-1. The timing of the MLS all-star game in late July syncs it up with the preseason schedule of European clubs and from 2005 onwards the match has featured a MLS select side taking on a European heavyweight. Clubs like Manchester United, Bayern Munich, and Real Madrid have taken the opportunity to build their brand and tune up for their season by playing against the MLS All-Stars.
The event travels around the country, with potential host cities bidding to hold the event. Players for the MLS team in the all-star game are decided on through a combination of fan voting and combined selections by the appointed managed for the season along with the MLS commissioner.
