Dave Chappelle announces "Karmageddon" Tour 2026: Dates, presales and tickets

A Dave Chappelle arena show comes with one rule that immediately changes the experience: once you enter, your phone is going away. Chappelle's performances are phone-free, putting the focus entirely on the stage and creating the kind of live comedy environment where jokes stay in the room instead of hitting social media before the night is over.

This fall, Dave Chappelle is bringing that experience to seven arenas across North America. The "Karmageddon" tour opens Tuesday, October 20, 2026 at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville and runs through Friday, November 6 at Madison Square Garden in New York.

When does Dave Chappelle's "Karmageddon" tour start?

The tour begins Tuesday, October 20, 2026 at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.

That comes two days after Chappelle's Sunday headline performance at Fastball Comedy Festival in Mesa, Arizona.

When does Dave Chappelle's "Karmageddon" tour end?

What to expect at a Dave Chappelle "Karmageddon" tour show

If this is your first Dave Chappelle show, the biggest difference from a typical arena event is the phone policy.

  • Phone-free experience: Chappelle's shows are phone-free. Upon arrival, phones, smartwatches and other devices are secured in individual Yondr pouches, which guests keep with them throughout the event. Devices can be accessed in designated Phone Use Areas and must be re-secured before returning to the performance space.

  • No recording during the performance: Phones, cameras and other recording devices are not permitted in the performance space. Guests caught using a device in the performance space may be escorted out of the venue.

  • Give yourself extra time to enter: Because devices need to be secured before fans enter the performance space, arriving earlier than you would for a standard arena show can make the process easier.

  • Expect stand-up rather than a traditional concert-style production: The focus is Chappelle's comedy rather than elaborate staging. Exact set length, material and any unannounced appearances can vary, so fans should not expect a published setlist or minute-by-minute show format ahead of time.

One practical tip: make sure you have any information you may need during the night before your phone is secured, including your seat location or plans for meeting your group after the show.
