About Riley Green Tickets
Riley Green, born Jonathan Riley Green on October 18, 1988, in Jacksonville, Alabama, grew up steeped in Southern country culture. Music was a constant presence in his life thanks to his grandfather, Buford, who ran a local music hall that young Riley would frequent. Inspired by traditional country performers he saw there, he taught himself guitar and began writing songs about family, faith, and rural life. While attending Jacksonville State University as a D-1 FCS quarterback, he juggled his athletic commitments with performing in local bars and restaurants—and continued doing so for years until signing his first record deal.
Green’s breakthrough came in 2018 when he released his debut EP on Big Machine Label Group, which included the lead single “There Was This Girl.” That track quickly climbed the Country Airplay charts and became a favorite on country radio, paving the way for his full-length debut album Different ’Round Here in September 2019. The record featured other standout songs such as “I Wish Grandpas Never Died,” both of which achieved multi-platinum certification. His debut success earned him the 2019 ACM Award for New Male Artist of the Year, firmly establishing him as a rising star in modern country music.S
Building on that momentum, Green released his second studio album, Ain’t My Last Rodeo, in October 2023, which included a reimagined duet version of “Different ’Round Here” featuring Luke Combs. He followed that with his third album Don’t Mind If I Do in October 2024, plus a deluxe edition in 2025. The deluxe edition spawned his hit “Worst Way,” which reached No. 1 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart, and “You Look Like You Love Me,” a duet with Ella Langley that earned him four CMA Award nominations in 2025 and won the CMA Award for Musical Event of the Year. Alongside festival appearances and stadium shows, Green launched the 2026 Cowboy As It Gets Tour, featuring special guests such as Justin Moore, Drake White, Hannah McFarland, Mackenzie Carpenter, Adam Hood, and Zach John King, with tour stops in cities like Nashville, Hartford, Cleveland, Saratoga Springs, and more.
