Few comedians can make an entire theater gasp and burst into laughter in the same breath quite like Jimmy Carr.

Known for razor-sharp one-liners, deadpan delivery and dark humor, the British comedian has built a global following by pushing boundaries and keeping audiences guessing.

Now Carr is bringing an entirely new stand-up show to the United States.

Jimmy Carr has announced his 2027 “Killing Jokes” Tour, featuring 39 performances across the U.S. from Thursday, June 17 through Saturday, Nov. 13, 2027. The schedule includes stops in Boston, New York, Chicago, Nashville, Atlanta, Los Angeles and Las Vegas, where Carr will close the announced U.S. run with three consecutive nights at the Encore Theater.

The tour follows Carr’s “Laughs Funny” run, which continues through Canada in late 2026. Unlike that production, “Killing Jokes” features all-new material.

Artist presales begin Wednesday, Oct. 21, followed by Live Nation and venue presales Thursday, Oct. 22. General ticket sales begin Friday, Oct. 23 at 10 a.m. local time.

Here’s everything to know about Jimmy Carr’s 2027 “Killing Jokes” Tour, including the full U.S. schedule, presale information, tickets and what fans can expect.

Jimmy Carr “Killing Jokes” Tour 2027 dates and schedule

What to expect at Jimmy Carr’s “Killing Jokes” Tour

Jimmy Carr’s comedy is built around the perfectly timed punchline, usually delivered with a straight face and just enough of a pause for the audience to process what they have heard.

“Killing Jokes” is an all-new stand-up show, so fans who attended the “Laughs Funny” Tour can expect a different performance.

Rapid-fire one-liners

Carr is known for packing a large number of jokes into each performance and moving quickly from one punchline to the next. The pace leaves little room for a long setup before the next joke lands.

Dark and provocative humor

Carr’s comedy frequently explores uncomfortable situations, controversial subjects and taboo topics. Fans should expect material intended for mature audiences.

Audience interaction

Carr is also known for engaging with the crowd through spontaneous exchanges and quick responses to audience members. The exact amount of audience interaction will vary by performance.

All-new material

The “Killing Jokes” Tour is being promoted as an entirely new show rather than a continuation of the “Laughs Funny” set.

Adult-oriented content

Strong language, sexual references, dark humor and mature subject matter are part of Carr’s style. Individual venues may have their own age policies, so check the event listing before purchasing tickets for younger fans.

Specific opening acts, performance lengths and intermission arrangements have not been confirmed for every U.S. date.

When does Jimmy Carr’s “Killing Jokes” Tour start?

Jimmy Carr’s announced U.S. tour begins Thursday, June 17, 2027 at the State Theatre in Portland, Maine.

The opening stretch includes performances in Boston, Mashantucket, Scranton, Newark, New York City, Atlantic City, Portsmouth and Wilmington before the tour resumes in September.

When does Jimmy Carr’s “Killing Jokes” Tour end?

The last currently announced U.S. performance takes place Saturday, Nov. 13, 2027 at the Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas.

Carr will perform three consecutive Las Vegas shows from Nov. 11 through Nov. 13, closing the announced U.S. schedule.

Additional dates could be announced, so fans should check the official tour website for updates.
