Jay-Z adds second SoFi Stadium show: New date, presales and how to get tickets

Jay-Z is doubling down in Los Angeles. Following heavy demand for his first SoFi Stadium performance, the hip-hop icon has added a second JAY-Z30 show on Saturday, October 24, 2026, one night after the previously announced October 23 concert.

The two-night run is part of an expanded series of stadium performances celebrating Jay-Z’s 30-year career and catalog. The Los Angeles shows are tied to the anniversary of his landmark debut album, “Reasonable Doubt,” but his recent Yankee Stadium concerts suggest fans could hear music from across his career and see appearances from longtime collaborators.

Jay-Z adds a second Los Angeles show

The newly announced concert gives West Coast fans another opportunity to see Jay-Z’s anniversary production. Both Los Angeles performances will take place at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood and are scheduled to begin at 8 p.m.

The added date follows Jay-Z’s sold-out, three-night run at Yankee Stadium from July 10–12. The New York concerts broke Yankee Stadium’s all-time concert attendance record on each of the three nights and made Jay-Z the first artist to sell out three consecutive shows at the venue. Each night featured a different concept, setlist and collection of special guests.

When do tickets go on sale for Jay-Z’s new SoFi Stadium show?

Tickets for the newly added October 24 show will be released through several presales on Wednesday, July 29. The general public onsale begins Thursday, July 30 at 10 a.m. Pacific.

Citi cardmembers can access the earliest presale through Citi Entertainment, while the JAY-Z30, venue and Live Nation presales may require a dedicated code or link. Each sale may contain different inventory, so tickets unavailable during one window could appear during another.

What to expect from Jay-Z’s JAY-Z30 show

“Reasonable Doubt” was released on June 25, 1996, and introduced tracks including “Can’t Knock the Hustle,” “Dead Presidents II,” “Feelin’ It,” “Brooklyn’s Finest,” “D’Evils” and “Can I Live.” The Los Angeles concerts are billed as JAY-Z30 performances honoring the album’s anniversary and Jay-Z’s wider cultural legacy.

The Yankee Stadium shows suggest “Reasonable Doubt” could anchor the performance without defining the entire night. The New York setlists reached into “The Blueprint,” “The Black Album,” “Watch the Throne,” “Magna Carta Holy Grail” and numerous collaborations, with the exact format changing from night to night.

No opening act or special guest is currently listed for the newly added October 24 show. Ticketmaster’s lineup names only Jay-Z, and the exact SoFi Stadium setlist, stage design and guest lineup have not been announced.

What happened at Jay-Z’s Yankee Stadium shows?

Jay-Z did not repeat the same anniversary show three times. The first night centered on “Reasonable Doubt,” the second celebrated “The Blueprint” and the third became a career-spanning finale billed as “Extra Innings.”

Night one: “Reasonable Doubt” with Beyoncé, Nas and Alicia Keys

The July 10 opening show celebrated the 30th anniversary of “Reasonable Doubt.” Beyoncé opened the night by singing Mary J. Blige’s part on “Can’t Knock the Hustle,” while Blue Ivy Carter appeared for a piano introduction before “Feelin’ It.”

Nas joined Jay-Z for a medley that moved through “Dead Presidents,” “The World Is Yours,” “N.Y. State of Mind” and “Where I’m From,” turning the reunion of the former rivals into one of the night’s biggest moments. Memphis Bleek and Jaz-O also appeared before Alicia Keys joined Jay-Z for the closing New York anthem “Empire State of Mind.”

Night two: “The Blueprint” with Eminem, Slick Rick and Pharrell

The July 11 show shifted to the 25th anniversary of “The Blueprint.” Slick Rick appeared during “The Ruler’s Back,” while Eminem joined Jay-Z for “Renegade” before performing “Lose Yourself.”

Pharrell later helped expand the show beyond “The Blueprint,” joining Jay-Z for a run that included “Excuse Me Miss,” “La-La-La,” “I Just Wanna Love U,” “Frontin’” and “Allure.” The set finished with major catalog staples including “Public Service Announcement” and “Encore.”

Night three: “Extra Innings” with Rihanna, Beyoncé, Usher and more

The July 12 finale was the biggest and most unpredictable show of the run. After a security-related delay outside the stadium pushed the start past midnight, Jay-Z delivered a catalog-spanning performance of approximately 50 songs packed with surprise appearances.

Teyana Taylor handled the vocal part on “Can’t Knock the Hustle,” Jermaine Dupri joined for “Money Ain’t a Thang” and Jeezy performed “Seen It All” and “Go Crazy.” Usher appeared for “Heart of the City (Ain’t No Love)” and “Throwback,” while The-Dream supplied the chorus of “No Church in the Wild.”

Rihanna returned to the stage for “Run This Town” and “Bitch Better Have My Money.” Pharrell performed another medley before bringing out Clipse for “Grindin’,” while Swizz Beatz joined Jay-Z for several of their collaborations. Beyoncé appeared for “Drunk in Love,” and Fat Joe and Jadakiss helped close the New York celebration with “New York.”

The Los Angeles guest list has not been announced, and fans should not assume that the Yankee Stadium appearances will be repeated.
