With FIFA World Cup 2026 coming to 11 U.S. cities, ticket prices have become a hot topic among fans. Early numbers show, however, that not every market has insane demand. In fact, some cities are actually emerging as relative bargains.

Using SeatGeek ticket data for group-stage matches in U.S. host cities only (excluding Canada and Mexico), we looked at the average resale price per ticket in each city. Prices will move as more tickets are listed and sold, but early trends make it clear which U.S. cities are shaping up as relative bargains and which ones are turning into premium destinations.

U.S. cities with the most affordable World Cup tickets

If you’re flexible on which city you visit and your priority is keeping costs down, a few markets stand out as clear values compared to the rest of the U.S. host list.

Santa Clara currently profiles as the best deal in the country. Group-stage tickets at Levi’s Stadium are averaging about $430 per ticket, making it the most affordable U.S. host city so far. Santa Clara will host Qatar vs. Switzerland (Group B), Austria vs. Jordan and Jordan vs. Algeria (both Group J), plus two Group D fixtures that feature Paraguay and Australia. Fans can still see multiple World Cup matchups without paying coastal “destination city” prices.

Just behind Santa Clara is Atlanta, another high-value option for fans who want to see World Cup matches at sub-$500 averages. Group-stage tickets at Mercedes-Benz Stadium are averaging around $451, even with a slate that includes two Spain group games. Spain opens in Atlanta against Cape Verde on June 15 and returns to face Saudi Arabia on June 21 (both in Group H), giving fans multiple chances to see a top-tier nation at more accessible prices.

Kansas City rounds out the most affordable trio, with group-stage tickets at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium averaging about $528. That’s still significantly below the national host-city average, despite a slate that includes Argentina vs. Algeria on June 16. That makes it a strong option for fans who want a mix of star power and relative affordability.

U.S. cities with the strongest World Cup ticket demand

On the other end of the spectrum, a few U.S. markets are already seeing elite-level demand being driven by superstar national teams, USMNT group games and destination-city appeal.

At the top of that list is Miami, which currently ranks as the most in-demand U.S. host city for group-stage tickets. Seats at Hard Rock Stadium are averaging about $1,217 per ticket, nearly three times the price of the cheapest market. The premium is fueled by one of the strongest group-stage slates in the tournament, highlighted by Scotland vs. Brazil (Group C) and Colombia vs. Portugal (Group K). That Colombia-Portugal match on June 27 currently has the average highest resale price of any group-stage match in a U.S. city at $1,971.22.

Foxborough (Boston area) is next in line among high-demand markets, with group-stage tickets at Gillette Stadium averaging roughly $1,022 per seat. The city’s schedule is packed with European powers and strong traveling fanbases, including England vs. Ghana (Group L) and Norway vs. France (Group I).

The Dallas area is not far behind. In Arlington, home to AT&T Stadium, group-stage tickets are averaging around $999 per ticket. Argentina is the focal point: Argentina vs. Austria on June 22 and Jordan vs. Argentina on June 27 (both Group J) are among the most in-demand matches in the region, with Argentina-Austria currently averaging $1,213.93 on the resale market.

While not quite in the top three by average price, Los Angeles (Inglewood) is right on their heels thanks to USMNT fixtures. SoFi Stadium in Inglewood is averaging $968 per ticket, anchored by USMNT vs. Paraguay on June 12 and a second USMNT match against the UEFA Playoff C winner on June 25 (both Group D). USMNT-Paraguay currently has the second-most demand for any group-stage match in a U.S. city, with an average ticket price of $1,902.54.
