America is a classic rock band formed in 1970 by Dewey Bunnell, Gerry Beckley, and Dan Peek. Known for their rich harmonies and acoustic-driven sound, the band rose to fame in the early 1970s with a string of timeless hits that blended folk, pop, and soft rock influences. Though the lineup has evolved over the years, Bunnell and Beckley remain the core members, continuing to carry the band’s legacy forward through recordings and extensive touring.

America’s most recent studio album is Lost & Found, released in 2015. The album features newly written material that reflects the band’s classic melodic sensibility while incorporating modern production touches. In addition to studio work, America has released live albums and archival projects in recent years, keeping their catalog active for longtime fans.
