Best App to Shop!
After this app was pushed and shoved to my face by every influencer and public figure I finally budged! And I regret not doing so sooner! Thank you TRISHA PAYTAS! This really is the best app to shop concerts and events! I’ve gone to 5 different concerts this year all thanks to seat geek! I’ve been able to get floor or front row tickets for mayor concerts like Olivia Rodrigo, Nicki Minaj, Gloria Trevi, the Cancrlled pod! And more, I’m looking forward to buying more tickets and having lots of fun with seat geek!!!Oct 15
Review
It’s been really nice to buy tickets from SeatGeek. They give the price upfront including fees. And it’s easy to use. I’m a fan!Aug 30
This App works
Great UI I can search though all the options and make the best choice of view and values The best way to search is to “include fees” to avoid any sticker shock at checkout.Aug 27
Efficient and transparent
Easy to pick out the seats that you want. Fees are displayed right after you initiate a purchase.Oct 15
Reliable and User Friendly
No issues with ticket reception, unlike StubHub which has screwed me over one too many times. I do wish they would ease off on their fees a little.Oct 3

About Yo La Tengo Tickets
Yo La Tengo is an American indie rock band formed in 1984 in Hoboken, New Jersey, by Ira Kaplan and Georgia Hubley. The band's name, "Yo La Tengo," translates from Spanish as "I have it," a phrase inspired by a 1962 baseball anecdote involving New York Mets players. Initially, they released a 7" single titled "The River of Water" in 1985, featuring Dave Schramm and Dave Rick. After Rick's departure, Mike Lewis joined as bassist, solidifying the trio's lineup. Their early work drew influences from bands like the Soft Boys, Mission of Burma, and Arthur Lee's Love, establishing their eclectic and experimental sound.
Over the decades, Yo La Tengo has consistently evolved, releasing over a dozen albums that blend elements of folk, jazz, R&B, and experimental rock. Notable albums include Painful (1993), which marked a turning point in their career, and I Can Hear the Heart Beating as One (1997), acclaimed for its fusion of various musical styles. In 2025, the band released Old Joy (Official Soundtrack), a collection of six instrumental tracks created in collaboration with guitarist Smokey Hormel. This album, recorded in a single afternoon at their Hoboken studio, serves as the soundtrack to Kelly Reichardt's film Old Joy, reflecting the band's longstanding friendship with the director.
In 2025, Yo La Tengo announced their 2025 Hanukkah run at Bowery Ballroom, scheduled from December 14 to December 21. Tickets for these performances went on sale on September 5. The band's enduring presence in the indie rock scene is a testament to their innovative approach to music and their ability to connect with audiences over the years.
