    Best App to Shop!

After this app was pushed and shoved to my face by every influencer and public figure I finally budged! And I regret not doing so sooner! Thank you TRISHA PAYTAS! This really is the best app to shop concerts and events! I’ve gone to 5 different concerts this year all thanks to seat geek! I’ve been able to get floor or front row tickets for mayor concerts like Olivia Rodrigo, Nicki Minaj, Gloria Trevi, the Cancrlled pod! And more, I’m looking forward to buying more tickets and having lots of fun with seat geek!!!

    Very easy to use

This app is much easier to use than other ticket apps I wish we could download sales history and I also wish for buyer to have better ‘view from the seat’ (row 2 v row 30 should look different).

    Best Ticketing App

There’s a lot of them out there, but the deal score meter always gets you best bang for buck. My favorite service to buy tickets for sure.

About The Smashing Pumpkins Tickets

The Smashing Pumpkins emerged from Chicago in 1988 and went on to become one of the most vital forces in alternative rock, selling over 30 million albums and earning two Grammy Awards along the way. Founded by Billy Corgan, James Iha, Jimmy Chamberlin, and D'arcy Wretzky, the band built a sound that defied easy categorization — layering shoegaze dreamscapes over heavy metal riffs, weaving psychedelic textures through progressive song structures, and anchoring it all with Corgan's unmistakable vocals. Their 1995 double album, Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, produced generation-defining anthems like "1979," "Tonight, Tonight," and "Bullet with Butterfly Wings," and has since been certified Diamond by the RIAA for moving 10 million copies in the U.S. alone.

Nearly four decades in, the Pumpkins are anything but a nostalgia act — the reunited core trio of Corgan, Iha, and Chamberlin released their thirteenth studio album, Aghori Mhori Mei, in 2024 to widespread critical praise, with AllMusic calling it "a rock and roll pyre lit with myth and memory." Their live shows remain pure sonic catharsis: walls of sound that shift from whisper-quiet guitar passages to arena-shaking, fist-pumping eruptions, all wrapped in theatrical lighting and staging that take audiences on a genuine emotional journey. Fans consistently describe the experience as immersive, loud, and deeply personal — the kind of show where Billy Corgan has been known to stop a song mid-verse because the crowd's energy was simply too electric to talk over.

2026 is shaping up to be a landmark year, headlined by The Rats In A Cage Tour — a 27-date arena run celebrating Mellon Collie's 30th anniversary with two unique sets each night, including the iconic album performed in its entirety in a highly theatrical setting plus a rotating second set drawn from nearly four decades of deep cuts and new material. Add in a homecoming headlining slot at Lollapalooza Chicago (their first time on that stage since 1994) and Corgan's operatic reimagining of Mellon Collie heading to European concert halls with a 60-piece orchestra, and you have one of the most ambitious live schedules in rock right now. Whether you fell in love with "Zero" in the '90s or discovered them through Aghori Mhori Mei last year, there has never been a better moment to see The Smashing Pumpkins live.

The Rats In A Cage Tour is The Smashing Pumpkins' fall 2026 North American headline tour, announced on May 18, 2026. The tour celebrates the 30th anniversary of Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, with the band performing the full iconic double album alongside a second set drawing from their nearly four-decade catalog. It marks one of the most ambitious live presentations the band has mounted around one of the defining albums of the 1990s.

The Rats In A Cage Tour kicks off on September 30, 2026 at the Schottenstein Center in Columbus, Ohio and runs through November 12, 2026 in Los Angeles at the Kia Forum. The run spans roughly six weeks and covers major markets across the United States and Canada. Dates are subject to change, so check back for the latest updates.

The Rats In A Cage Tour covers a wide range of North American cities including Columbus, Boston, Baltimore, New York, Pittsburgh, Montreal, Chicago, Charlotte, Jacksonville, Tampa, Indianapolis, Nashville, Oklahoma City, Austin, Denver, Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, Portland, Vancouver, Seattle, San Jose, Phoenix and Los Angeles. The tour stops at SeatGeek is the Official Ticketing Partner of the Delta Center, which hosts the Salt Lake City date on October 29, 2026 — you can find tickets at seatgeek.com/the-smashing-pumpkins-tickets.

The Rats In A Cage Tour is structured as a two-part experience: the band will perform Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness in full, giving fans the chance to hear every track from the landmark 1995 double album live, followed by a second set pulling from across the band's catalog. Recent setlists have consistently featured staples like Today, Bullet With Butterfly Wings, 1979, Tonight Tonight, Cherub Rock and Zero, along with deeper cuts that shift from night to night.

The Rats In A Cage Tour features the band's reunion-era classic core: Billy Corgan on vocals and guitar, James Iha on guitar and Jimmy Chamberlin on drums. This lineup — the original creative engine behind Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness — has been performing together since reuniting in 2018, and their presence gives the anniversary tour a sense of authenticity that earlier reunion runs without all three founding members could not fully deliver.

Yes, The Smashing Pumpkins will headline Lollapalooza at Grant Park in Chicago on August 1, 2026, ahead of The Rats In A Cage Tour. They are also co-headlining the Darker Waves festival with Morrissey at Huntington State Beach in Huntington Beach, California on November 14, 2026, alongside performances from Simple Minds, Bad Religion, Adam Ant, The Psychedelic Furs and Soft Cell. These festival appearances bookend the fall arena run.

Unlike previous headline runs where Mellon Collie tracks appeared alongside material from across the band's discography without a fixed album focus, The Rats In A Cage Tour is built specifically around performing Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness front to back for its 30th anniversary. It is also the first major arena tour the reunited Corgan-Iha-Chamberlin lineup has anchored around a single classic album, giving it a ceremonial weight that distinguishes it from the band's recent touring cycles like The World Is A Vampire Tour and The Aghori Tour.

The Rats In A Cage Tour celebrates the 30th anniversary of Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, The Smashing Pumpkins' landmark 1995 double album. The record debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, produced hit singles including Bullet With Butterfly Wings, 1979 and Tonight Tonight, and became the defining commercial and creative peak of the band's original run. The tour name itself is drawn from Bullet With Butterfly Wings, one of the album's most iconic tracks.
