About Perfume Genius Tickets
Perfume Genius is the art-rock project of Mike Hadreas, a Seattle-based songwriter who turned vulnerable piano demos into one of indie music's most respected catalogs over the course of seven studio albums on Matador Records. His sound has evolved dramatically since 2010 — from hushed, emotionally piercing chamber pop to visceral, darkly glamorous rock — but the through line has always been an unflinching honesty that hits you right in the chest. His 2025 album Glory landed on year-end best-of lists from NPR, The New York Times, and Pitchfork, and earned a Grammy nomination for Best Album Cover, followed by an expanded edition featuring four new tracks in early 2026.
If you've never seen Perfume Genius live, the current Duo Tour is a rare and extraordinary way to experience it — just Hadreas and longtime collaborator Alan Wyffels, who have played every single show together for 15 years, stripped down to keyboards and voice in intimate rooms. Critics have called it "a trip back in time to the quiet moments when these songs were first written," a show of warmth and openness that rocks hard while letting every lyric land with full emotional weight. Fans describe being unable to look away from the stage, drawn in by a presence that's equal parts cathartic, theatrical, and deeply human.
The Duo Tour is actively expanding, with newly announced fall 2026 dates spanning Vancouver, Seattle, Portland, Big Sur, Los Angeles, and an exclusive London show at Union Chapel — the kind of small, storied venues where you feel every note in your bones. Dan English opens the North American leg, and whether you're a day-one fan or discovering Hadreas for the first time, these shows offer something you simply cannot get from a festival stage or arena run. This is one of the most compelling performers in modern music choosing to go small on purpose, and that's exactly what makes it unmissable.
Glory is Perfume Genius's seventh studio album, released on March 28, 2025, through Matador Records. The record features contributions from his partner and creative collaborator Alan Wyffels, producer Blake Mills, and a guest appearance by Aldous Harding. Glory landed on numerous best-of-2025 lists and has been widely celebrated as one of the strongest releases of Mike Hadreas's career.
Mike Hadreas, the artist behind Perfume Genius, is openly gay and has built his entire body of work around his queer identity, using music to explore vulnerability, desire, shame, and resilience. That identity is not incidental to the live experience — it is central to it. Attending a Perfume Genius show, particularly the intimate Duo Tour format with partner Alan Wyffels, is widely described as one of the most emotionally honest and affirming concert experiences in contemporary music.
