INZO (real name Mike Inzano) is a Chicago-born, Denver-based electronic music producer and DJ. He showed musical promise early, starting piano lessons at age 4 and drums at age 6. In high school he played in a metal band, but his interest shifted toward electronic production once he encountered the rave / EDM scene in college. Over time he adopted a genre-fluid approach—melding elements of bass, melodic, cinematic, and experimental electronic music—eschewing strict labels in favor of creating emotion and atmosphere. He also founded the label Local Void Records as a vehicle to support artists and allow freedom in sound beyond commercial constraints.

INZO’s most recent major release is Nexum, which was released in August 2025 and features 12 tracks. On Apple Music, Nexum is listed under his discography and is billed as his newest full project. Some of his well-known earlier works include Visionquest (2024) and Earth Magic (2023) along with standout singles like “Overthinker,” “Drift Like a Cloud, Flow Like Water,” “Hideaway,” “Go Mode,” and others. The direction of Nexum carries forward his signature emotive / melodic bass style, while branching into new soundscapes and collaborations.
