Yes. Tickets on SeatGeek are sold by licensed sellers, other SeatGeek customers, integrated partners, and sometimes the team's box office. All orders are backed by SeatGeek’s Buyer Guarantee.
If there is a qualifying issue with your order — including delivery problems, invalid tickets, or incorrect tickets — SeatGeek will work with you to resolve the issue in accordance with the Buyer Guarantee.
Are SeatGeek tickets real?
Fans sometimes ask whether SeatGeek tickets are real, legitimate, or safe to use. Tickets sold on SeatGeek are protected by the Buyer Guarantee, which helps protect buyers if tickets are not delivered in time, are invalid for entry, or are not the tickets that were ordered.
What does the Buyer Guarantee cover?
The Buyer Guarantee is designed to help protect SeatGeek orders. It generally covers:
- Your tickets being delivered in time for the event
- Your tickets providing valid entry to the event
- The tickets you receive matching the tickets you ordered
If one of these things does not happen, SeatGeek may provide comparable or better replacement tickets or offer a refund, depending on the situation.
What if there is a problem with my tickets?
If your tickets are not delivered in time, do not work at the event, or are not the tickets you ordered, contact SeatGeek as soon as possible.
SeatGeek will review the issue and work to resolve it under the Buyer Guarantee when applicable.
You can contact SeatGeek here: Contact SeatGeek.
What happens if my event is canceled?
If your event is officially canceled and not rescheduled, SeatGeek, in its sole discretion, will provide a full refund of the purchase price to your original payment method or, subject to applicable state laws, issue a credit for use on a future purchase.
SeatGeek will notify eligible buyers if an event is canceled and provide instructions about next steps.
What happens if my event is postponed or rescheduled?
If your event is postponed or rescheduled, your tickets will usually remain valid for the new date.
If replacement tickets are required for entry on the rescheduled date, SeatGeek will work to obtain replacement tickets for you.
If you cannot attend the rescheduled event, you may be able to list your tickets for sale on SeatGeek. Except when replacement tickets are required or where required by applicable law, SeatGeek generally does not provide refunds for postponed or rescheduled events.
How does SeatGeek help protect buyers?
SeatGeek monitors Marketplace activity and may review sellers, listings, transfers, and order activity to help protect buyers and maintain a safe marketplace experience.
SeatGeek also provides support if something goes wrong with an eligible order.
What is not covered by the Buyer Guarantee?
The Buyer Guarantee does not apply to every situation. It generally does not cover:
- Mistaken purchases
- Personal schedule changes or no longer being able to attend
- Lineup, performer, or schedule changes that do not qualify as cancellations
- Being denied entry due to venue rules, age restrictions, disruptive behavior, or failure to follow event policies
- Personal expenses related to attending an event, such as travel, hotel, parking, or other costs
