Camilo Echeverry, known mononymously as Camilo, is a Colombian singer, songwriter, and producer celebrated for his heartfelt lyrics and genre-blending style. Born on March 16, 1994, in Medellín, Colombia, Camilo began his music career at a young age, gaining national recognition after winning the Colombian talent show Factor XS in 2007. He initially pursued a career in pop and urban music, later transitioning to Latin pop with a focus on romantic ballads and tropical rhythms. His breakthrough came with the release of his debut album Por Primera Vez in 2020, which featured the hit single "Tutu" and earned him a Latin Grammy Award.

Camilo's latest album, Cuatro, was released on May 23, 2024, under Sony Music Latin. The album marks a departure from his previous urban-pop style, embracing tropical genres such as salsa, cumbia, and vallenato. It includes collaborations with artists like Evaluna Montaner, Carín León, and Havana D'Primera. The album's lead single, "La Boda," was accompanied by a music video that garnered significant attention. Other notable tracks from the album include "Plis," "Una Vida Pasada," and "Misión Imposible." Cuatro has been praised for its romantic themes and nostalgic sound, reflecting Camilo's musical evolution.
