Where to sit at Dodger Stadium: Best seats for Dodgers games by fan type

Jun 4, 2026

There are few ballparks that feel as iconic as Dodger Stadium.

The setting does a lot of the work, thanks to the hills around Chavez Ravine, the open sky and the classic Los Angeles palm trees. Whether it is a summer night, a rivalry matchup or a first trip to see the Dodgers, the ballpark has a way of making even a regular-season game feel like an event.

But not every Dodger Stadium seat gives you the same kind of experience. A few sections are built for the view. A few are better for shade. Others make more sense if you want premium perks or an easier day with kids.

That is where this guide comes in.

How to choose the right seats at Dodger Stadium

Dodger Stadium has a little bit of everything, and each area gives you a different version of the ballpark. The best choice depends on what matters most for your game day.

Use the recommendations below to narrow your options. Once you know what kind of experience you want, SeatGeek, the Official Ticket Marketplace of Major League Baseball and the Los Angeles Dodgers, is the strongest option to help you compare tickets, views and prices before you buy.

Best splurge seats: Yaamava’ Dugout Club

For Dodgers fans who want to go all-in, the Yaamava’ Dugout Club is the seat you dream about before buying tickets. These seats are tucked between the bases, so you’re close enough to pick up the little details like infielders shifting between pitches or the movement on a nasty slider.

The perks make it even better: padded seats, wait service, private restrooms, full bars, and a climate-controlled club space when you want to cool off. Food and non-alcoholic beverages are included, so you can settle in and enjoy the game without constantly leaving your seat.

This is the closest thing to a VIP Dodgers game. You’re paying for the view and elevated experience without losing the energy of sitting right near the field.

How to find on SeatGeek: Go to the SeatGeek’s Dodgers page and click on the “Premium” tab right above the schedule calendar. Then, click on the “Yaamava’ Dugout Club” option to see all available Yaamava’ Dugout Club tickets for every Dodgers home game.

Best affordable premium seats: Lexus Baseline Club

The Lexus Baseline Club is a great pick for Dodgers fans who want the premium treatment without going all the way up to Dugout Club prices. These seats sit within the first six rows down the left- and right-field baselines, so you still feel close to the field, especially on hard-hit balls down the line, throws from the outfield, and players warming up between innings.

The setup is made for fans who want to settle in and enjoy the night. Seats are cushioned with extra leg room, plus tabletop dining and drink rails so you’re not balancing your food on your lap for nine innings. You also get access to a private, climate-controlled club with private restrooms, a full bar and buffet-style food. Food and non-alcoholic beverages are included for these seats.

The key difference from Yaamava’ Dugout Club is location. Dugout Club is the true top-tier splurge, located between the bases with the most direct, center-stage views of the action. Lexus Baseline Club is farther down the lines, but that tradeoff can make it a smarter premium buy since you still get many of the same perks for around half of the price.

How to find on SeatGeek: Go to the SeatGeek’s Dodgers page and click on the “Premium” tab right above the schedule calendar. Then, click on the “Lexus Baseline Club” option to see all available Lexus Baseline Club tickets for every Dodgers home game.

Best classic Dodger Stadium view: Loge 101LG–108LG

This is the Dodgers seating cheat code. For a great mix of view, energy, and actually being able to follow the game, check out Loge sections 101LG–108LG on SeatGeek.

These sections put you in the infield Loge sweet spot: high enough to see the whole field, close enough that the game still feels alive. You can track every play unfolding without twisting around all night. It’s also one of the most picturesque ways to take in Dodger Stadium, with the diamond, outfield pavilions and Chavez Ravine backdrop all in view.

The top targets are 101LG and 102LG behind home plate. From there, expand to 103LG–108LG if pricing or inventory is better. For a fan-favorite angle, look at 105LG and 107LG on the third-base side, or 106LG and 108LG on the first-base side.

Best value seats: Lower Reserve 1RS–3RS

For fans who want a strong view without paying lower-bowl prices, Lower Reserve 1RS–3RS is the move. On SeatGeek, Lower Reserve is labeled RS, and the first few sections behind home plate are the ones to check first.

The reason these seats work is that they give you the most useful Reserve Level angle. You’re centered behind the plate, so the field is laid out cleanly in front of you, from the mound to the outfield gaps. That makes 1RS–3RS a much safer buy than chasing the cheapest Reserve ticket and ending up farther down the line with a more angled view.

These seats are a great choice when you want a good view but do not want to spend like you’re sitting downstairs. You won’t be as close as Field Level or as perfectly balanced as Loge, but you’ll still have a clear view of the game and the whole Dodger Stadium scene. If 1RS–3RS are sold out or the price jumps, check 4RS–8RS next, then 9RS–12RS. The closer you stay to home plate, the better the buy.

Best shaded seats: 129LG

For day games, 129LG is one of the strongest sections to target for shade. At Dodger Stadium, the third-base side tends to get shade earlier than the first-base side, and 129LG keeps you on that preferred side while still giving you a strong Loge-level view. On SeatGeek, Loge sections are labeled LG.

This is a good pick for fans who want shade without giving up the game-watching experience. You are still close enough to the infield to follow the action, but you have a much better chance of avoiding direct sun than you would in many lower or first-base-side seats.

For the best chance at shade, focus on higher rows in 129LG rather than simply grabbing the lowest seats available. If you want a less expensive version of the same idea, look to the third-base side of Reserve and stay as centered as possible.

Best seats to catch a home run: Pavilion 301PL–303PL and 302PR–304PR

If you are bringing a glove, target the Pavilion sections closest to the foul poles: 301PL–303PL in left field and 302PR–304PR in right field. On SeatGeek, left-field Pavilion sections are labeled PL and right-field Pavilion sections are labeled PR.

These sections are the better home-run play because they sit closer to home plate than the deeper, more centered Pavilion sections. That shorter distance matters, especially for line-drive homers or balls that just clear the wall down the lines. Left field can be a strong spot for right-handed power, while right field is the better bet when left-handed bats are in the lineup.

Rows matter here, too. Look for lower rows when possible, since sitting closer to the wall gives you a better chance to react when a ball comes in. You will not get the same complete view of the game that you would from Loge or Reserve behind home plate, but that is not really the point. The Pavilion is louder, more casual and built for fans who want to be part of the action when a ball leaves the yard.

Best seats for food lovers: Loge 133LG–137LG

For fans who want the classic Dodger Stadium food run plus a little variety, Loge 133LG–137LG is a strong section range to target. This area keeps you close to several Loge-level concession stops, including Fan Fare by Loge 133, Sweet Spot by Loge 136 and Dodgertown Nachos & Beer by Loge 137.

And yes, the Dodger Dog is still part of the plan. The closest dedicated Dodger Dog location is Dodger Dog Express by Loge 140 and 141, just a few sections away. That means you can grab the classic first, then round out the order with nachos, sweets, beer or bigger ballpark bites nearby.

It is a great pick for fans who want a strong Loge view and an easy food plan without hiking across the stadium.

Best seats for young families: 315PL and 316PR near Centerfield Plaza

For families, the clear move is to sit near Centerfield Plaza. This area gives kids more to do before the game and between innings, making it a strong pick for anyone who wants the day to feel bigger than just the seat itself.

Centerfield Plaza includes food options, photo ops, interactive fan areas, pitching cages and custom collectible Dodgers baseball cards. It gives kids more ways to stay engaged throughout the visit, whether they are locked into the game or need a quick break from the seats.

For a family day at Dodger Stadium, sitting near Centerfield Plaza makes the logistics easier and the experience more fun. You are close to extra activities, places to walk around and one of the liveliest parts of the ballpark.
