Hans Zimmer is bringing some of the biggest movie scores ever written back to North American arenas.

The composer behind Interstellar, Inception, The Dark Knight, Gladiator, The Lion King and Dune has announced a 30-date North American run of “Hans Zimmer Live – The Next Level” for 2027.

“The Next Level” is built to be much more than a traditional film-score concert. Zimmer performs alongside a large live ensemble as orchestral arrangements, electronic elements, lighting and stage production turn familiar themes into a full arena show.

Hans Zimmer will play 30 arenas across the U.S. and Canada on the 2027 North American leg of “The Next Level,” beginning Feb. 17 in Hartford and ending April 11 in Portland.

American Express presales

Two different American Express ticket options are scheduled to open Wednesday, Sept. 23 at 10:00 a.m. local time for participating Hans Zimmer dates: Amex Presale Tickets and Amex Preferred Tickets.

Amex Presale Tickets give American Express Card Members early access to select tickets before the general onsale. Tickets must be purchased with an American Express Card, excluding prepaid cards, and availability is limited.

Amex Preferred Tickets are a separate pool of select seats available only to eligible American Express Card Members. Unlike the broader Amex presale, Preferred Tickets require a qualifying card, which can include certain Platinum, Gold, Delta SkyMiles, Hilton Honors and Marriott Bonvoy cards. Fans may be asked to enter the 10-digit customer service number on the back of their eligible card to unlock those seats.

Some stops also list Amex Presale Tickets VIP Packages, giving eligible Card Members early access to select VIP packages during the same Sept. 23 presale period. Exact ticket inventory and availability can vary by show.

The Hans Zimmer artist presale begins Thursday, Sept. 24 at 10:00 a.m. local time.

Fans can register for presale access through Hans Zimmer’s official tour website. Registration is handled by individual tour date, so make sure you select the city you plan to attend.

Hans Zimmer is very much part of the show himself, but “The Next Level” is built around a much larger ensemble.

The production features Zimmer alongside a live band, the Nairobi Chamber Chorus and the Odessa Orchestra & Friends.
