Aerosmith is returning to the stage for two special concerts at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.

The band’s “California, Dream On: Aerosmith & Friends” concerts are scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 29 and Sunday, Nov. 1, 2026. Rather than launching a traditional tour, Aerosmith is bringing together an all-star lineup of rock, hip-hop and country artists to celebrate the band’s catalog and legacy.

The announced guests include The Black Crowes, Run-DMC, Heart, Billy Idol, Eric Church, Slash and Sammy Hagar, along with a larger group of musicians expected to appear across the two nights.

Tickets go on sale to the general public Saturday, Oct. 10 at 10 a.m. PDT, following Citi, Aero Force One, Live Nation and other presales.

Aerosmith “California, Dream On” 2026 concert dates

Aerosmith has announced two performances at the Hollywood Bowl. Both concerts are being presented as special events rather than stops on an extended North American tour.

Only two concerts have been announced. Fans can track Aerosmith tickets on SeatGeek for ticket availability and event updates.

Who is performing with Aerosmith at the Hollywood Bowl?

The “& Friends” part of the title is central to the event. Aerosmith has announced a broad lineup of artists spanning classic rock, hard rock, hip-hop and country.

The announced guest performers include The Black Crowes, Run-DMC, Heart, Billy Idol, Eric Church, Sammy Hagar, Slash, Tom Morello and Pat Monahan.

The lineup also includes Andrew Watt, Chad Smith of Red Hot Chili Peppers, Duff McKagan of Guns N’ Roses, Jerry Cantrell and Mike Inez of Alice in Chains, Marcus King, Nuno Bettencourt of Extreme, Steve Stevens, Sully Erna of Godsmack, Adam Wakeman, Audley Freed and Kenny Aronoff.

Producer and bassist Don Was is also among the announced participants.

The guest lineup can vary by night. Fans attending one performance should not assume that every announced artist will appear at that show. Additional appearances may be announced closer to the concerts or revealed during the performances.

Why Run-DMC’s appearance matters

Run-DMC’s involvement carries particular history because of the group’s 1986 collaboration with Aerosmith on “Walk This Way.”

The song helped introduce Aerosmith’s music to a new generation while becoming one of the most recognizable rock and hip-hop collaborations of its era. Whether Run-DMC and Aerosmith will perform “Walk This Way” together at either Hollywood Bowl concert has not been confirmed.

When is the presale for Aerosmith’s “California, Dream On” concerts?

Several presales are scheduled before the general public on-sale, including an exclusive window for Aero Force One fan club members.

The times below are listed in Pacific Time. The Oct. 29 concert falls under Pacific Daylight Time, while the Nov. 1 concert takes place after the switch to Pacific Standard Time.

Aero Force One Presale

The Aero Force One Presale takes place Friday, Oct. 9 from 10 to 11 a.m. PDT.

This one-hour window is reserved for eligible members of Aerosmith’s official fan club. Fans should visit Aerosmith’s official website for membership information and instructions about accessing the sale.

Live Nation Presale

The Live Nation Presale begins Friday, Oct. 9 at 11 a.m. PDT and runs through 10 p.m. PDT.

The presale is available to Live Nation All Access members. Membership is free. Fans can join Live Nation All Access, then sign in to Ticketmaster using the same email address associated with their membership.

For eligible events, the presale should unlock automatically when it begins. No separate public Live Nation code is required when the accounts are linked correctly.

Additional presales

Additional presales are scheduled for Friday, Oct. 9 beginning at 11 a.m. PDT and ending at 10 p.m. PDT. These include Blackbird, guest artist, venue and LNHS presales.

Access may require a qualifying membership, invitation or code. Fans should check announcements from the Hollywood Bowl, participating guest artists and the event organizers for instructions.

Presale inventory can vary, and access to a presale does not guarantee that tickets will be available.

When do Aerosmith “California, Dream On” tickets go on sale?

Tickets for both Hollywood Bowl concerts go on sale to the general public Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026 at 10 a.m. PDT.

With only two dates announced, fans interested in attending should compare both nights, review the seating layout and set a budget before tickets become available.

What to expect at Aerosmith’s “California, Dream On” concerts

The Hollywood Bowl performances are being presented as career-spanning celebrations rather than traditional Aerosmith headlining concerts.

The format brings Steven Tyler, Joe Perry and the band’s catalog together with artists who have helped shape rock, hip-hop and country music across several generations. With a large guest lineup and two separate performances, the shows may have a different structure from Aerosmith’s previous arena tours.

What should fans know about attending the Hollywood Bowl?

The Hollywood Bowl is an outdoor amphitheater in Los Angeles. Fans should dress for the evening weather and review the venue’s current entry policies before attending.

Parking can be limited during major events. The venue offers transportation options including park-and-ride lots and shuttle services, which may make arrival and departure easier.
