Great prices and low fees
My third year buying tickets from SeatGeek. The availability of tickets and low fees along with seat maps and price recommendations can't be beat. Other sites lure you in with a price but the fees can add 25% or more. Also easy to sell tickets when I can't make it. Finally, tickets available right to start time allowing choices at last minuteolder stereo

The best ticket app
Very convenient to sell tickets. SeatGeek provides a recommended price and then lists your tickets as a good or bad deal. Every pair of tickets that I’ve listed has sold quickly and they only charge a 10% fee for the sale, not bad at all.rgrloveall

About ALDS Tickets
For much of baseball history, there were only four teams in total that qualified for the playoffs – two from the American League, and two from the National League. The playoffs would start with the ALCS and NLCS, and those series would lead into the World Series. It was extremely difficult to make the playoffs at all, and the postseason was rather short.
Beginning in 1995, the playoff field was expanded, and the Division Series round was added. At that point, four teams made the playoffs from each league, as each of the three division winners qualified, along with a wild card. The new format expanded the length of the playoffs, and most fans would agree the month of October was improved as a result.
The best ALDS ever played just may be the first one ever played. The inaugural ALDS featured the New York Yankees and the Seattle Mariners. It was Seattle’s first trip to the postseason in franchise history, after having defeated the California Angels in a one-game playoff to claim the AL West crown.
This series started with the Yankees taking the first two games at home before heading west to Seattle. The Mariners won the next two to even the series, and the decisive game five went to extra innings. Ace starting pitcher Randy Johnson was called in out of the bullpen for the Mariners, who fell behind by a run in the 11th. In the bottom of the 11th, Joey Cora and Ken Griffey, Jr. both reached base before an Edgar Martinez double scored two and finished the series. There have been many great ALDS moments over the years, but this first series may be the best of all.
One of the most memorable plays in baseball history also took place during the ALDS, and that too involved the Yankees. On October 13, 2001, in Game 3 of the ALDS between the Yankees and Oakland A’s, New York shortstop Derek Jeter ran across the field and “flipped” a ball to catcher Jorge Posada, who tagged out a runner at home and preserved a 1-0 lead. The “flip play” propelled the Yankees to the ALCS, and eventually their fourth-straight World Series.
How much are ALDS tickets?
ALDS ticket prices can vary widely depending on the team, matchup, venue, and demand. Preseason tickets typically cost less, while premium games and major events like championship games can cost significantly more. Prices fluctuate based on factors like team performance, rivalry intensity, and seat location, with courtside, front-row, or VIP sections commanding much higher prices than upper-level seating. Additionally, ticket prices often shift in real time based on supply and demand, meaning last-minute buyers could find deals or pay a premium depending on availability.
Several key factors determine the final price of a sporting event ticket. Market demand is a major driver—when a team is performing well or facing a high-profile opponent, prices tend to rise. The size and capacity of the venue also play a role, with larger stadiums typically offering a wider range of price points.

Set price alerts: Enable price alerts to track changes for specific ALDS games or sections so you can grab the best deals as soon as they’re available.
Compare similar sections: Browse pricing for comparable sections across multiple ALDS games to spot the most cost-effective match for your preferences.
Consider timing: ALDS ticket prices fluctuate based on demand. Buying early or checking back for last-minute deals on ALDS tickets can help you save.
How can I get cheap ALDS tickets?
Scoring cheap, last-minute tickets to a sporting event is all about timing and strategy. While prices for high-demand games can spike as the event approaches, many tickets actually drop in price over time. This is especially true for regular-season matchups that aren’t packed with playoff implications or major rivalries. On SeatGeek, fans can track price trends in real-time and take advantage of price drops that often occur in the final hours before a game (make sure you click the heart icon on the event you want to attend to "track" it!). Factors like weather, team performance, and unexpected lineup changes can also influence ticket prices, sometimes creating opportunities for fans to find great deals at the last minute.
A few key strategies can help maximize savings on last-minute tickets. Checking SeatGeek regularly and setting price alerts can ensure buyers catch sudden price drops. Flexibility is also key—choosing a weekday game or less popular opponent often results in lower ticket costs. Additionally, mobile ticketing makes it easier than ever to purchase and enter the stadium on short notice. While prices can be unpredictable, last-minute buyers who stay patient and use SeatGeek’s deal score to find the best value can often land great seats for a fraction of the original price.
Is it better to buy ALDS tickets in advance?
Purchasing ALDStickets in advance is a smart move to secure your spot at the ALDS game and avoid potential sell-outs.
Here are some key benefits of planning ahead and buying ALDS tickets in advance:
Guaranteed seats: Lock in the best available options, from preferred sections to optimal views.
Price stability: Avoid last-minute mark-ups
Greater selection: Enjoy full access to seating charts, including popular areas that may disappear as the event nears.
Stress-free planning: Skip the scramble and enjoy peace of mind—no rushing at the last minute or dealing with sold-out alerts.
Better group coordination: Secure more nearby seats when attending with friends or family, ensuring everyone sits together.
Time for logistics: With tickets in hand early, coordinate parking, transit, and pre- or post-game plans without pressure.
Are ALDS tickets cheaper last-minute?
Sometimes! While high-demand games may sell out quickly, ALDS ticket prices may drop in the final week before game day. If you're flexible with your plans, waiting can often lead to big savings.
Want to time it just right? Set up a pricing alert for the ALDS game you’re eyeing, and we’ll notify you when ticket prices drop. Whether you're catching a midweek ALDS game or planning a last-minute weekend outing, alerts take the guesswork out of finding a great deal!
How to get last-minute ALDS tickets?
The good news is that ALDS ticket prices tend to drop closer to game time. Track the event you want to attend, and we'll send you updates on price drops so you can get the best deals on last-minute ALDS tickets.
Here are some tips when it comes to searching for last-minute ALDS tickets:
Be flexible on location and timing: Check for weekday ALDS games with lower demand. Consider upper-level seats, as they often drop the most in price.
Time it right: Prices tend to dip 24–48 hours before, and again in the final hours—especially when opening acts or weather variables come into play. But when a great deal pops up, move fast—this window is very short.
And don't worry about entry for last-minute tickets. When you buy with SeatGeek, your tickets will show up immediately in your SeatGeek app for a smooth gameday experience.
Will ALDS tickets purchased on SeatGeek be seated together?
Yes, SeatGeek guarantees that ALDS tickets bought together will be seated together unless the listing specifies otherwise. This allows groups of friends or family to sit together, ensuring a shared experience without any seating worries.
What this means for your ALDS tickets:
Seats will be adjacent if you select two, four, or more tickets in a single listing.
Occasionally, seat numbers might look non‑sequential (e.g., even vs. odd), but SeatGeek ensures they are physically next to each other.
Always check the seller's notes on the listing. If there’s any exception, it will be stated there (like “split across the aisle”).
Tips before you buy ALDS tickets:
Confirm ticket quantity in one purchase.
Review the seating chart and notes on the listing page.
Use filters to find listings with the exact number of seats you need.
