Alabama Shakes have announced a Spring 2026 tour that celebrates their return to live performance following reunion activity and new music.

On their 2026 tour, Alabama Shakes will visit cities such as Richmond, Asheville, Memphis, Atlanta, Raleigh, St. Augustine (FL), Tallahassee, Boca Raton, Clearwater, and New Orleans (festival) before the Red Rocks dates.

Alabama Shakes is an American rock band from Athens, Alabama, featuring vocalist/guitarist Brittany Howard, guitarist Heath Fogg, and bassist Zac Cockrell. They emerged in the late 2000s blending blues, soul, rock, and roots music with Howard’s powerful vocals at the forefront. The group won multiple Grammy Awards and built a devoted fanbase with their gritty musicianship and emotional intensity. After a long period of hiatus following their second album in 2015, the band reunited in recent years to make new music and return to touring.

Alabama Shakes’ most recent full album is Sound & Color, released in 2015, which earned widespread critical acclaim and multiple Grammy Awards. Since then, they’ve been largely inactive as a group while members pursued solo projects. In 2025–2026, they released a new single called “Another Life”, marking their first original music since Sound & Color, and are reportedly working on a third full-length album slated for release in 2026.
