Son Little is the stage name of Aaron Earl Livingston, an American rhythm & blues singer‑songwriter and producer originally from Philadelphia. He began his music career working behind the scenes—writing songs and playing guitar for artists like Mavis Staples and collaborating with RJD2 under the name Icebird—before stepping into the spotlight on the encouragement of The Roots’ members.

His most recent album is Like Neptune, released on September 9, 2022 via ANTI‑Records. It was created during the pandemic in a riverside cabin and explores themes of healing, self‑acceptance and transcendence over trauma—representing a shift toward personal joy in his artistry.
