In response to President Trump’s Executive Order to reform America’s live entertainment ticketing industry signed on March 31, SeatGeek issues the following statement:
"SeatGeek commends President Trump’s Executive Order and its commitment to Combat Unfair Practices in the Live Entertainment Market. The industry has been dominated for too long by practices and companies that stifle competition and hurt fans, venues, and artists alike. We strongly support efforts to improve price transparency, crack down on bots, and enforce antitrust laws, including the Department of Justice’s antitrust case against Live Nation-Ticketmaster. A more open, fair, and competitive market benefits everyone—and we look forward to working with President Trump, his Administration, and Congress to help make that a reality."
