About Chiodos Tickets
Chiodos is an American post-hardcore band that originated in Davison, Michigan, in 2001. Initially known as The Chiodos Bros, the band's name was a tribute to the Chiodo brothers, creators of the cult classic film Killer Klowns from Outer Space. The founding members—Craig Owens (vocals), Bradley Bell (keyboards), Matt Goddard (bass), Jason Hale (guitar), and Derrick Frost (drums)—began performing in local venues, quickly gaining attention for their energetic live shows and emotive lyrics. Their debut full-length album, All's Well That Ends Well, was released on July 26, 2005, through Equal Vision Records. The album reached #3 on the Billboard Top Heatseekers chart and #164 on the Billboard 200, marking a strong start to their career.
In 2007, Chiodos released their second album, Bone Palace Ballet, which debuted at #5 on the Billboard 200 and #1 on the Top Independent Albums chart. The album featured a more refined sound and included popular tracks like "Baby, You Wouldn't Last a Minute on the Creek" and "The Undertaker's Thirst for Revenge is Unquenchable (The Final Battle)". The band's lineup underwent changes over the years, notably with the departure of Owens in 2010 and his subsequent return in 2012. During this period, Brandon Bolmer (formerly of Yesterdays Rising) served as the lead vocalist, and Tanner Wayne (formerly of Underminded) joined as the drummer. This lineup recorded the album Illuminaudio, released on October 5, 2010, which showcased a more progressive rock direction.
After reuniting with Owens and Frost, Chiodos released their fourth studio album, Devil, on April 1, 2014, through Razor & Tie. Produced by David Bottrill, known for his work with Tool and Muse, the album marked a return to the band's post-hardcore roots while incorporating elements of progressive rock. Devil received positive reviews and was the band's first album to feature guitarist Thomas Erak of The Fall of Troy, following the departure of original guitarist Jason Hale. Despite lineup changes and evolving musical styles, Chiodos maintained a dedicated fanbase and continued to influence the post-hardcore scene.
