It all comes down to one game.

After six thrilling matchups, the 2026 WNBA Finals between the Golden State Valkyries and Atlanta Dream are headed to a winner-take-all Game 7 on Saturday, October 31, at Chase Center in San Francisco.

It's a historic moment for the WNBA. For the first time since the league introduced its best-of-seven Finals format, a championship will be decided in Game 7. With both franchises chasing their first WNBA title, the stakes couldn't be higher.

But beyond the action on the court, another fascinating storyline has emerged throughout this championship series: ticket demand.

For the past three seasons, Caitlin Clark has set the standard for WNBA ticket demand. Her Indiana Fever games have consistently commanded the highest average resale prices on SeatGeek, with fans willing to pay a premium to see the superstar in person.

Until these Finals, no WNBA games without Clark had reached that same territory.

That has officially changed.

2026 WNBA Finals tickets enter rarefied Caitlin Clark territory

For the first time in SeatGeek's data, WNBA games without Caitlin Clark are generating the same level of resale ticket demand as the Indiana Fever superstar's most sought-after matchups.

According to SeatGeek data, five of the 10 WNBA games with the highest average resale ticket prices have come from the 2026 Finals between the Golden State Valkyries and Atlanta Dream. The other five all featured Clark's Indiana Fever.

The biggest game of the series could make even more history.

Saturday's Game 7 at Chase Center has generated an average resale price of $666 per ticket, making it the second-highest in SeatGeek's WNBA dataset. That's just $26 below the record of $692, set when Clark's Fever visited Angel Reese and the Dream on June 20, 2026.

With tickets still being purchased for Game 7, there's a chance the championship decider could surpass Clark's record before opening tip.

The 10 most in-demand WNBA tickets in SeatGeek history

The ticket demand for the 2026 WNBA Finals, however, extends well beyond Game 7.

Game 1 of the Finals averaged $485 per ticket, the fifth-highest figure in SeatGeek's data. Game 5 reached $424, while Games 2 and 4 both averaged $394.

Just two years after Clark's arrival transformed WNBA ticket demand, the Finals are showing that fans are willing to spend at similar levels even when the league's biggest individual attraction isn't playing.

Valkyries have built one of the WNBA's most passionate fanbases

In only their second WNBA season, the Valkyries have turned Chase Center into one of the league's hottest tickets.

Four of the five 2026 Finals games in SeatGeek's top 10 rankings have taken place at Chase Center, accounting for every Golden State home game in the championship series. Each has generated an average resale price of at least $394 per ticket.

The demand is also overwhelmingly coming from California. According to SeatGeek data, 82% of tickets purchased for Saturday's Game 7 have gone to buyers with California billing addresses.

That pattern has held throughout the Finals, with California buyers accounting for 83% to 88% of tickets purchased for the previous three games at Chase Center.

Meanwhile, Games 3 and 6 in Atlanta failed to crack SeatGeek's top 10 WNBA rankings, further demonstrating the remarkable resale ticket demand for the Valkyries' home games at Chase Center.
