About Renee Rapp Tickets

Renee Rapp, born January 10, 2000, in Huntersville, North Carolina, first rose to prominence in the theatre world. In 2018 she won the Best Actress award at Charlotte’s Blumey Awards for her performance in Big Fish during high school, then went on to win the prestigious Jimmy Awards in New York for Best Performance by an Actress—earning both a scholarship and widespread recognition. Shortly thereafter, she appeared in regional productions like Spring Awakening before making her Broadway debut as Regina George in the musical Mean Girls in 2019. Her commanding performance catapulted her into the spotlight and quickly opened doors in television and music.

Following Broadway’s shutdown in 2020, Rapp transitioned to the screen, landing the role of Leighton Murray in Mindy Kaling’s HBO Max series The Sex Lives of College Girls (2021–2023). She exited after the third season to focus on music—her true passion—while still making occasional appearances to wrap up her character’s storyline. She also reprised her iconic Regina George in the 2024 film adaptation of Mean Girls: The Musical, supporting her performance with two original singles on the soundtrack and reinforcing her status as a crossover star.

Musically, Rapp signed with Interscope in 2022 and debuted with her emotionally raw EP Everything to Everyone, which featured fan favorites like “Tattoos” and hit No. 1 with immersive storytelling and confessional lyricism. Her full-length album Snow Angel followed in August 2023, entering at No. 44 on the Billboard 200—and ranking as the biggest debut by a new female artist that year, also charting internationally in the UK and Australia. Tours to promote both releases—Everything to Everyone: The First Shows (2022) and Snow Hard Feelings Tour (2023–2024)—sold out quickly, highlighting her strong fan connection.

Rapp’s momentum hasn’t slowed. She was a musical guest on Saturday Night Live in January 2024, performing “Snow Angel” and her Megan Thee Stallion–featured single “Not My Fault,” in a showcase of her bold and genre-bending pop style. In 2025 she released the single “Leave Me Alone” ahead of her upcoming album Bite Me, and delivered a memorable performance at the American Music Awards. Her candid vulnerability about queer identity, mental health and eating disorders resonates deeply with Gen Z, earning her cultural recognitions like Them’s 2024 Now Award and AP’s Breakthrough Entertainer. At just 25, Rapp stands out as a fearless voice reshaping modern pop and entertainment.
