    Best App to Shop!

After this app was pushed and shoved to my face by every influencer and public figure I finally budged! And I regret not doing so sooner! Thank you TRISHA PAYTAS! This really is the best app to shop concerts and events! I’ve gone to 5 different concerts this year all thanks to seat geek! I’ve been able to get floor or front row tickets for mayor concerts like Olivia Rodrigo, Nicki Minaj, Gloria Trevi, the Cancrlled pod! And more, I’m looking forward to buying more tickets and having lots of fun with seat geek!!!

Beat my head against the wall trying to buy tickets from another “officially sanctioned” outfit and nothing but frustration. Went to seat geek. 5 minutes later I have nice seats in my phone’s wallet. Easy

About Lamp Tickets

Lamp is a Japanese indie pop band formed in 2000 by three college friends: Yusuke Nagai (vocals, guitar), Kaori Sakakibara (vocals, flute) and Taiyo Someya (guitar). The trio met at university in Tokyo, bonding over a shared love for 1960s and 1970s music—particularly Brazilian bossa nova, American soft rock and Japanese pop (City Pop). They released their debut album, Soyokaze Apartment Room 201, in 2003, which introduced listeners to their lush, retro sound blending jazz, pop and nostalgic melodies.

Over the years, Lamp developed a cult following both in Japan and internationally, especially among fans of dream pop and City Pop revival movements. Their critically acclaimed albums—such as For Lovers (2004), Komorebi Dori Nite(2005), and Yume (2014)—showcase the band’s sophisticated songwriting, intricate arrangements and poetic lyricism. Lamp’s music often evokes the golden-hour calm of a Tokyo afternoon, and their refusal to conform to mainstream trends has earned them a reputation as timeless, genre-defying artists.

In recent years, Lamp has experienced a surge in global popularity, thanks in part to streaming platforms and the re-emergence of interest in vintage Japanese pop sounds. Their 2020 album Stardust in Blue was praised for its elegant, cinematic feel, and they have begun touring internationally, reaching fans in the U.S., South America, and beyond. With a consistent and authentic approach to music, Lamp continues to be one of Japan’s most beloved and respected indie acts.
