Great Customer Service
I tested positive for Covid one day before I was scheduled to see a show I had been looking forward to for a long time. I called support and at 10 pm on a Monday they were able to transfer my tickets to the same seats the following month, to a date of my choosing. About Flock of Dimes Tickets
Flock of Dimes is the solo project of singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Jenn Wasner, best known as one half of the indie duo Wye Oak. The project began organically in Baltimore around 2012 when Wasner, feeling restless between Wye Oak tours, decided to write and record a handful of songs for an impromptu house concert. That initial burst of creativity, produced largely in isolation and featuring drum programming and unconventional guitar tuning, became the genesis of Flock of Dimes. According to an early interview, she treated it as a chance to break habits and explore new sonic territory—what she called a “vanity project,” free from expectations.
Since her debut full-length, If You See Me, Say Yes, released in September 2016 through Partisan Records, Flock of Dimes has evolved into a rich creative vehicle blending synth-pop, dreamy indie rock and introspective lyricism. That album received critical acclaim for its seamless integration of shimmering synths, rhythmic experimentation, and heartfelt melodies, with reviewers noting it as a deeply personal expression of Wasner's individual artistic voice outside Wye Oak. Notable early highlights include her breakthrough single “Semaphore” and tracks like “Everything Is Happening Today,” which illustrate her capacity to shift from airy synth textures to emotional.
In 2021, she released her critically praised sophomore album Head of Roses via Sub Pop, produced with Nick Sanborn of Sylvan Esso. The record delves into themes of heartbreak, healing, emotional growth, and self-forgiveness, featuring standout songs such as “Two,” “Price of Blue” and “One More Hour.” It marked a turning point—not only in lyrical maturity but in sonic ambition—featuring collaborations with Meg Duffy, Andy Stack and members of Bon Iver. Most recently, the announcement of her third Flock of Dimes album, The Life You Save, set for release on October 10, 2025 on Sub Pop, showcases a more immediate and vulnerable songwriting approach. The title single “Long After Midnight” and the album’s lyrical focus on addiction, co‑dependency,and ongoing emotional processes suggest a new level of intimacy in her work, supported by an end‑of‑year U.S. tour encompassing cities including Philadelphia, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
