It was a standout year for live music in 2025, packed with unforgettable tours and can’t-miss concerts. But which artists truly captured fan demand?
Here are the performers whose shows were the most sought-after tickets on SeatGeek in 2025.
Coldplay took SeatGeek's top spot in ticket demand in 2025 thanks to the band's continuation of the “Music of the Spheres” World Tour. That tour started in 2022, and concluded in 2025 with the final show on Sept. 12 at Wembley Stadium in London. There were also nine North American stops for the “Music of the Spheres” tour in 2025 from May 31 to July 27.
If you were wondering how Coldplay compared to last year’s No. 1, let’s just say Taylor Swift had nearly 2.5 times more demand in 2024 than Coldplay did in 2025.
Kendrick Lamar released his sixth studio album “GNX” in Nov. 2024, and then unleashed his 47-show “Grand National Tour” throughout 2025. The first show kicked off at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis on April 19 and it concluded on Dec. 11 at Allianz Stadium in Sydney, Australia. The North American and European stops of the tour were co-headlined by SZA, and supporting acts such as Mustard, Schoolboy Q and Doechii appeared throughout various shows.
The Eagles are the only classic rock band to make this list, fueled by longtime fans flocking to see the legends play at The Sphere in Las Vegas throughout 2025 as part of the band’s “The Long Goodbye” farewell tour. After beginning their Sphere residency in Sept. 2024, their final show in Vegas is currently scheduled for March 28, 2026. The Eagles hold the record for the longest Sphere residency with 56 shows.
The Weeknd’s “After Hours Til Dawn Tour” certainly didn’t slow down in 2025 after the tour first began in July 2022. The Weeknd performed in 25 different cities across North America in 2025, ranging from May 9 in Glendale, Arizona at State Farm Stadium to Sept. 3 in San Antonio, Texas at the Alamodome. In fact, that May 9 date at State Farm Stadium sold more individual tickets at SeatGeek than any other concert in 2025.
Chris Brown’s “Breezy Bowl XX Tour” served as a celebration of his 20-year career. Brown made stops across Europe and North America in 2025, with Bryson Tiller, Summer Walker and Jhene Aiko featured as the supporting acts. “Breezy Bowl XX Tour” ended up being the highest-grossing tour of Brown’s career, and SeatGeek fans were certainly interested in seeing him perform in 2025.
Morgan Wallen’s “I’m the Problem Tour” was such a success in 2025 that he’s continuing with the “I’m Still the Problem Tour” in 2026. Wallen’s 2025 tour spanned 20 different stadiums, including his two highest-demand shows at SeatGeek coming on July 18 and 19 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, with Miranda Lambert, Brooks & Dunn and Ella Langley as the supporting acts across those performances in the desert.
Beyonce’s “Cowboy Carter Tour” may not have had as many stops as other tours on this list, but that didn’t slow down fan interest. “Cowboy Carter Tour” consisted of 32 concerts in nine stadiums in the United States, England and France, beginning with SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California on April 28 and wrapping up at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on July 26.
Billie Eilish’s “Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour” lasted for over a year, going from Sept. 29, 2024 to Nov. 23, 2025. From Feb. 2025 to Aug. 17, Eilish was overseas in Australia, Europe and Asia. She then performed her final 21 shows on tour in the United States across 11 different cities, with the tour concluding at the Chase Center in San Francisco on Nov. 23.
Tate McRae’s first world tour as an arena headliner was one of the biggest in 2025, as fans traveled everywhere to see her live at the “Miss Possessive Tour.” The massive 83-show circuit stretched across North America, South America and Europe. The Canadian artist began her 2025 tour in Mexico City on March 18 and concluded at the Kia Form in Inglewood, California on Nov. 8.
After releasing his eighth studio album “Chromakopia,” Tyler, The Creator followed that up with an electric “Chromakopia: The World Tour.” His tour made stops in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia, and the charismatic rapper released his newest studio album, “Don’t Tap the Glass,” on July 21, 2025 in between shows at Barclays Center in New York City on July 18 and at Bell Centre in Montreal on July 22.
