SeatGeek Adds Utah Royals to NWSL Partner Roster, Renews With Portland Thorns

The Utah Royals will kick off their 2025 season with SeatGeek’s primary ticketing technology, while the Portland Thorns continue their successful collaboration with the platform

SeatGeek, the high-growth technology platform revolutionizing the live event experience for fans, teams, and venues, today announced a new primary ticketing partnership with the Utah Royals of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL). The announcement coincides with an extension with the Portland Thorns after seven successful years using SeatGeek's primary ticketing technology.

The Royals' partnership with SeatGeek will empower them to sell through tickets, maximize revenue, and drive fan engagement through SeatGeek's comprehensive and vertically-integrated platform. SeatGeek's platform ensures a seamless and delightful experience for fans while providing powerful functionality for teams and season ticket holders.

“We chose SeatGeek as our ticketing platform because of their proven track record across both NWSL and various other sports,” said Michelle Hyncik, Utah Royals President. “They take a technology-first approach which really resonates with what we’re building here.”

The Royals will kick off the 2025 season as SeatGeek’s fourth NWSL partner.

"SeatGeek’s innovative approach to ticketing has been instrumental in our success," said Alexis Lee, President of Business Operations at Portland Thorns FC. "Their technology supports our operational needs and helps us build a stronger community around soccer. We look forward to continuing our partnership and achieving even greater heights together."

SeatGeek's strategic expansions across major sports leagues, music, theater, and beyond—including partnerships in the NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, MLS, and the English Premier League—highlight the flexibility and appeal of its platform. The company's continued growth in the NWSL further solidifies its position as a leader in the live event ticketing space.

"Our expansion in the NWSL and other sports leagues is driven by our focus on innovation and providing top-notch technology," said Russ D'Souza, co-founder of SeatGeek. "Teams choose SeatGeek because our platform helps them engage with fans and increase revenue."
