NEW YORK, NY—May 12, 2025—SeatGeek, the high-growth technology platform transforming the live event experience for fans, teams, and venues, will now display the price of tickets with fees included upfront across all events on its platform, in line with the Federal Trade Commission’s new guidelines on price transparency. Taxes may still be added at checkout, depending on the location of the event.

By showing the full price of tickets upfront, SeatGeek is making it easier for fans to understand exactly what they’ll pay for their tickets when attending live events. This rollout builds on SeatGeek’s long-standing commitment to creating a more transparent and personalized ticket-buying experience. The company has been a consistent advocate for clearer pricing and a more fan-friendly ticketing marketplace.

Previously, SeatGeek offered a pricing filter that allowed fans to view ticket listings either with fees included or as a base price, giving fans flexibility in how they browsed and evaluated their options. It has also long helped fans better understand the value of their seats through innovations like Deal Score, View from Seat, and Seat Perks, making it easier for fans to find the best possible experience for their budget.

“Fans deserve pricing that’s clear from the start,” said Jack Groetzinger, SeatGeek’s Co-Founder and CEO. “This is an important step forward for ticketing transparency and one we've championed for a long time. We’re proud to roll this out across our platform and encouraged to see the industry move in this direction."

SeatGeek will continue to advocate for policies that foster transparency, promote greater competition, and create a better overall live event experience for fans.
